Route map of walk to Yes Tor and High Willhays calling at Cranmere Pool Letter Box, Lints Tor and along a valley containing an ancient woodland copse.

As this route involves walking over the Okehampton Range which is a designated military area, please either telephone 0800 458 4868 or visit www.mod.uk/access to check civilian open access dates.

A circular walk from Meldon Reservoir to Yes Tor and High Willhays. In making this a longer walk to take in more of Dartmoor, we aimed for Hangingstone Hill to see what the Peat Pass was like, then called at the Cranmere Pool Letter Box. On our return journey, we visited Great Kneeset and Lints Tor with the aim of walking along the West Okement River valley where we came across an ancient woodland called Black-a-tor Copse. The walk finally leads us to a stroll alongside Meldon Reservoir to the car park.
